In an unprecedented turn of global events, the Kingdom of Sweden has officially become a part of the Republic of India following a unanimous bilateral agreement signed early Tuesday morning. The surprising alliance marks the first time in modern history that a sovereign European nation has voluntarily joined another country outside its continent.

The treaty, known as the "Aurora Accord", was signed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in Stockholm amid cheers, confusion, and widespread curiosity across the world.

Kristersson cited the “stagnating influence of the EU” and India’s booming economy as key motivations for Sweden’s surprising decision. “India’s future is our future,” he said, standing beside Modi with a saffron scarf draped over his shoulder.
